Q & A Time!

You: Why can’t I see real production photos? These are small thumbnails off somebody’s digital camera.

Me: No official production photos (or reviews) were taken. I wish I had some, believe me.

You: Ok. Why didn’t you take some?

Me: I was on stage at the time.

You: Oh, right.

Me: Yeah, you see the way that works?

You: Don’t have to get all snippy.

Me: Sorry, it’s been a long day.

Peter and the Starcatchers was produced by Disney Theatricals and La Jolla Playhouse in Jan - Mar 2009; Roger Rees and Alex Timbers co-directed it; Rick Elice wrote the play, based on this  Peter and the Starcatchers by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson.

Yes, that Dave Barry.

It’s every boy’s dream to be Peter Pan, and every actor’s dream to not grow up. Or possibly the other way around.

The play was part of the “Page to Stage” program at La Jolla that develops shows with big ambitions.

Of course, those big ambitions led to a multiple Tony Award-winning Broadway extravaganza.
